my take on AAA PCL

ok, so... I'm a loser, and I got bored and decided to study everyone's team and rank them... I used very crude methods (banging two rocks together until stats came out) and here is my opinion.... And it's strictly opinion, so don't get bent out of shape by this stuff.

I tried to rank my team... but I'm way to biased, so I quit looking at my players. Here are the top three and bottom three teams for each stat category:

Pitching-wise, I wish I'd gotten more holds. I can snag some off the WW.

Hitting-wise, well, that's the price paid when you miss the first 12 rounds of the draft. The computer did go for my "default" setting, which is to grab quality pitchers. However, had I been present from the beginning, I might have alternated hitting and pitching. And with the hitters I have, I'm hoping for at least a repeat of their stats from last year.

honestly, I'm not sure how people do those power rankings... I just took the stats from last year for the hitters if the player had at least 400 ABs. If the hitter played last year, and had at least 100 ABs, but less than 400, I just factored what their stats would be if they had 500 ABs last year. For rookies, I spotted them all 20 BBs, cause who the hell knows about those, and for the rest of the stats tried to use a gut feeling combined with ESPN projections... Mostly gut feelings. For pitchers, I went with what the pitcher has done for the past 3 seasons, compared with what I think they will do this year. Like I said, crude methods. And picking up holds off the waiver wire shouldn't be a problem this year. I don't think a single bullpen is set at this point.... Plus, is it just me, or does it seem like there are a lot more injured players this spring than there have been in the past? I wonder if the crack down on drugs is to blame...
