that was the most painful and longest draft i've ever been... i don't know why, but in the draft my players were not put in the position i draft them (ex: a-rod in UTIL, berkman in OF); and, in case someone makes a projection and to put it simple, berkman should be move from OF to CI, nick johnson from CI to the Bench, and Cuddyer from the Bench to OF.

The draft put everyone's first pick into the utility slot, but it should have been fairly easy to keep track of what positions you had filled. I did mine the old fashioned way with pen and paper. Just go to our league page, access your roster and move them to where you want them to go.

I've never had that problem, but if you can access the forum pages, you have to go through the home page of elitefantasybaseball.com, unless you have the forum bookmarked. I guess just make sure you have the spelling right. Copy and paste this link and see if it works.

I thought your draft didn't go too badly for you other than picking three elite closers out of the gates. I usually try to wait for saves and catchers. Pujols might be your best pick or it might be your worst. Time will tell.

I don't know what to tell you. I'm able to enter it ok. I haven't heard about it being a problem for anyone else. Send a PM to Working Class Boys and see if he has any ideas. Just go up to the members section near the top of the forum page and then click on his name.

Sorry about the confusion. I was hoping everyone would use their team name for their forum name so it wouldn't get confusing. But what do I know? I didn't own a calendar up until last week.

r2d2...If you're having trouble navigating the website, you might not have flash installed on your computer or you may be running a very old version of flash. Try downloading the latest version of flash and see if that helps.

i think i "fixed" the problem. for some reason i cant go to http://www.elitefantasybaseball.com/, but i can go to: http://www.efbl.moonfruit.com/. is that weird or what? so i guess flash is not the problem...

I told John I would write a draft summary to post either to the main page or to a link under the commish report on the home page, but you're right, Cory. That was brutal. Guess I should have left it at 60 seconds instead of bumping it to 75 seconds per pick. That was a lot of extra 15 seconds. But I needed every one of those 75 seconds on a couple of my picks. Note to self ... never draft next to Cory again. You sniped at least four of my picks you dirty Tortfeasor!!!

I'll roll up my sleeves and do some sort of a summary. I'll find out from John what he wants to do with it. I think a summary would work better for leagues that haven't drafted yet, but since the Elite group may be the only ones still undrafted, I might go into as much detail.

But then again, they might need all the help they can get. Had a lot of fun chatting with the boys before the draft. Hope it continues in the forum here.

I get logged in and I found a link that says "My Fantasy Teams" , but then it says that page cannot be found!?!?!

I guess you have to start from scratch.
1. Go to www.sportingnews.com
2. Log on using your user id and password
3. Click on the word "Fantasy" in the top menu and pull down to baseball.
4. Another little window will open up next to where you signed in that says "My fantasy teams"
5. Click on the little blue arrow and that will open a drop-down menu and you should see your team there. Just click on your team name and you're home free.
6. Then once you get to our league page, bookmark it!!!

The term "Brutal" refers to the fact i needed another 15/30 sec. per pick.
I was scrambiling several times i would fill my Q after my pick with not 1 or 2 or even 3 guys but with 5-7 guys and i would just sit there and watch them get picked off 1 at a time.

Note 2 self - Do a draft on the web site you are unfamilure with. And then you wont wind up with the Wanger insted of the flying hawaiian...... Or draft J.Hamilton 3 rounds 2 early....

I have found the Sporting News page and signed in. The "My Fantasy Teams" is blue, not a drop down menu, and when I click on that is when I get that this page cannot be found. I thought this was a free league, but it looks like that is the problem, I have not paid for a team.

No one has paid anything. All the teams are free.

After you log in, click on your username. That will take you to your profile page. In the bottom right hand corner of that page you will finda box containing your fantasy teams. There should be a team under draft and trade baseball, click on that and it will take you to you leagues homepage. Let me assure you, money has nothing to do with it. I wish it did but it doesnt. Hope this helps.
