WCB,

I like the idea of going to a pay league format. I think its great to have this additional incentive to keep more managers competing in every league to the end of the year. The proposed pay format looks great and having 5% admin fees is not unreasonable in my eyes. cyclops

It would be helpful if an explanation for how strength of League Power numbers and how Overall Team standings will be calculated. scratch

As a side note I also think that all league draft dates and times should be stated ahead of time prior to league enrollment to prevent misunderstandings from ocurring. Mad

Looking forward to another great year this year. bounce

JT

I love the idea.. And i would second what CP has already said . 5% is nothing for all the work you guys have done . I have no issue with that . But again just as CP has stated there needs to be a hard copy of your "Rankings" of the teams, just so everyone is aware of how the formula works.

side note -- i am Dissapointed in the content being done away with ?

the BOC was GREAT and Channell articles were very good also. And i relize what a grind it is for these guys to do that and for you to edit the stuff and BEG guys to write new stuff.. But in no way is the site better without the BOC and the like .. IMO Neutral

And you know i LOVE what you have going on here, there is not a bigger fan . But if you could give your thinking that would be cool ..

Im all for that man!!!!!

Paying $20 is very little when you look at that prize structure...

Maybe you could look at giving the runner up in each league their entry next season for free for getting 2nd place...

Would love the idea of having a chance to win money. It would make everything a lot more interesting and maybe if someone is out of it they will still take a look at their team and any logical trades to happen.

I like the idea and would back it wholeheartedly. I think it might remove some of those wanna-bes and give us more serious fantasy owners (well, at this point, I guess I'm a wanna-be until I've proven something) but I think you get my meaning.

I think it's a great idea. It's not a lot of money, but people do take it a lot more seriously when there's cash involved. You might want to think about such things as what form of payment everyone will use, who will be in charge of the funds and how will the funds be held secure during the season (I assume everyone will pay up front). When you bring money into any fantasy league, you run the risk of accusations of misuse of funds.

PostSubject: poll the leagues?   Mon Apr 13, 2009 5:49 pm

Why not poll each of your leagues to see the level of interest? Will give you an idea how many gms to expect to return.

From my personal perspective, I have no interest in pay leagues (just my personal take). Like the tier aspect (reminds me of my former municipal leagues) and if you keep the current structure, I will definitely be back.
