PostSubject: New Columns Launched   Tue Feb 26, 2008 7:55 am

I'd like to officially welcome our new Fantasy Writers to the site. We've been lucky to add 3 top notch writers to the Elite family already. Today we launched three new columns that will be updated weekly or bi-weekly throughout the season.

Cory's Channel -hosted by Cory Channell
Hit 'Em Where They Aint -hosted by Tarrell Graham
The Warning Track -hosted by John Thornton

This is only the begining as we hope to add several more columnist and contributing writers in the near future. Any league members interested in writing for the site, please contact me at commissioner@elitefantasybaseball.com.

Tarrell ... are you related to Pat Graham from Colorado? He's a writer with the Associated Press who covers the Rockies.

I read the bottom line article and saw this: Ramirez is a premier player along with Cabrera but with those guys and Willis alone will not allow Marlins fans a whiff of the post season.

Both Miguel and Dtrain are currently on the Tigers. Not making a big deal but just pointing it out

I currently write for rototimes/fanball and baseballguys.com and therefore can't contribute articles on this site due to a previous contractual agreement, but I would like to encourage you guys to check out my stuff.

Here is a link to last weeks NBA Hot/Cold list for rototimes
http://www.rototimes.com/article.php?article_id=4438

and look for my coverage of rookies on baseballguys.com to be released shortly. I will provide a link when I get the article up there. I am profiling 10 IF, 10 OF and 10 pitchers to start and the first article will run sometime next week.

As always, I welcome feedback, thoughts, and opinions.

Thanks,

Larry Yocum aka The Czar

Nice article. Vottos biggest drawback will be Baker. Baker has already started razzing him to stop taking so many pitches and be agressive........I have seen what the Dusty approach can do to a young hitter living in Chicago and I am afraid he will get into Joey's head and ruin his swing.

I considered Vottos patience the key to his hitting, but he could end up losing out to Baker Ball (at least he isnt a pitcher, then we could really fear for him).

How does Dusty continue to hold a job? He's definitely the most dangerous manager in MLB.

Well I am sure Cincy would welcome a playoff appearance and total meltdown in game 6 and 7
